You bring up excellent points about the economic ramifications of Trump back in the White House, i.e., basically economic collapse at home that would spread abroad, something like 2008 times a thousand percent.

This does make me wonder (not to sound like too much of a conspiracy theorist but...) if our American oligarchy class, recognizing that the additional tax cuts Trump would give them would NOT compensate for a global economic plunge that would hit them as well... I wonder if they will, behind the scenes, join the bandwagon to help political efforts to defeat Trump? I believe many of the mega rich may be lurking behind and within the No Labels group, whose mission is not really this lofty philosophical idea of "no labels" but is actually trying to strategize to ensure 1) Trump is never anywhere near the White House again and 2) continue to protect the interests of the mega wealthy.

Yes indeed, this will all be interesting to watch. Thank you for commenting and good advice there that everyone should give thought to making sure their finances are in order and figuring out all the "what if" scenarios economically.
