Yes, but, according to MAGA, he is the anointed of God. And as I heard one evangelical MAGAite put it "sometimes God chooses flawed men to work his will." (Insert vomit emoji here).

You are applying reason, facts, and rationality when what we are dealing with is a cult. We need to stop banging our head against that brick wall and understand that if he literally shot somebody on 5th Ave (as he himself said) they would still vote for him. They really would.

Therefore, the surprising thing about the fact that half say they will still vote for him if he is convicted is that the number is so low. I think some of them are lying to pollsters when they say a conviction means they wouldn't vote for him.

I think it is closer to 80% are still going to vote for him despite a conviction. Which is why Nikki Haley, who isn't even running, still keeps getting 20% of the primary vote. That tells me 80% are Trump or Die.
