Word on the grapevine is that Gaetz wants to be Gov of Florida (DeSatan err I mean Desantis is term-limited and is out in 2026). And won't it be hilarious to talk about Gaetz running for that job, with Moms for Liberty backing the guy who sex trafficked a minor... I can hardly wait to write that story.

In the meantime though, Gaetz has to have something to keep him occupied (it is death to MAGA extremists to become irrelevant, i.e., no longer trending on X or TikTok or whatever) so Trump will hire him for something or other. He can't go back to Congress in the near future (if for no other reason than all the GOP House members would pool their money to hire a hit man to take him out once and for all LOL)

One thing that is very good news is that this is proof that the Big Bad Wolf Trump even with all his huffing and puffing to blow the house down is actually showing signs of being a wheezing old man after all. It is very good news (relative speaking in a terribly bad news America we live in now) that there are GOP Senators showing signs of a spine. Only need 4 spines to derail Trump's most insane stuff. Nice to know they will draw some lines on him
