The "quiet censorship" is very disturbing.

At least when Moms for No-Liberty show up and rabble rouse, people can be alerted to what they are targeting and fight back. However, sneaky stuff is going on too. I have been slow to catch up to it.

Small example at my local public library (in a relatively small but very Trumpy town): They once had the novel Wild and Wicked Things by Francesca May. The author bio of Francesca on the book jacket says that she "...writes novels about gothic mansions, witchcraft, and queer love."

I finally had a bit of free time and went to the library to check it out. Not there. I asked a staff member and they looked it up on their computer. It was checked out back in February and never returned. "Apparently lost" said the employee. I asked why hadn't they replaced it. He blinked at me and shrugged.

Now I get it.
