The Facts About Florida Under Ron DeSantis
The economy, healthcare, and education in the Sunshine State are not very sunny
I’m taking a small timeout from punditry, mockery, and the ongoing competition for the best nickname (“Darth Santis” is the best I have heard so far, by the way). I am taking a timeout from personal attacks upon the man. I am even taking a timeout from the whole woke brouhaha.
This piece is an informative article for anyone pondering whether or not Gov. DeSantis would be a good — or even simply tolerably okay — President of the United States. I know there are more than a few people murmuring to themselves, “Well, at least he is better than Trump.” That is a low bar. That is also an improper basis for evaluating anybody. So, I am traveling back in time to the days when a political debate was exactly that, an honest debate, concerned mostly with facts and figures.
