Thank you Jeremy. Sometimes women are simpler to understand than most people think, and in fact, all we want from men is exactly that, speak up!

Also, we want men to not take it personal when some exceptionally angry women are shouting things like "no uterus, no opinion" or other such chants at abortion rights protests. Remember who we are directing our angry shouts at: the pseudo-Christian white male assholes out there who want a theocracy instead of democracy. They are the targets of our anger. It is not a case of women against men, it is women against those who think they own us.

I'll tell you something else. Nothing, and I mean nothing, makes me happier than going to a protest and seeing a guy there with one of those signs with arrows pointing in all directions that says simply "I'm with her." Nothing makes me happier than to see that. And while we are screaming "My body, My choice!" I hear those few deeper voices around me shouting "Her body, her choice!" And I love it, and I love them for it.

So, yes, keep speaking up, keep saying what you are thinking, what you feel, what your concerns are, what your opinions are. Because ultimately what these pseudo-Christian, so-called "pro-life" authoritarians are really all about is silencing people, and not just women. So yes, speak up! Stand with us women at an abortion rights protest, you are more than welcome to come, and create a sign that says whatever you want it to say....though I do still really love that one with arrows in all directions "I'm with her." ;-)
