Reminds me of my dad, he was always complaining of the ole "dude looks like a lady" thing if a guy had long hair and earrings and was slim, or whatever else that in my dad's eyes constituted "feminine." He would then insist "that MUST be a woman! It is not a guy!" and it wouldn't matter how hard I tried to explain to him he was wrong, he always had to insist he was right. So sad to see the converse idiocy of "lady looks like a dude." Guess there is equal opportunity in abuse. Not exactly the equality opportunity women were looking for. *sigh*

Can we ever get to a place where human beings are human beings and are treated like human beings, with respect and dignity accorded to everyone fer cryin out loud? Too much to ask? *deeper sigh*
