Not to mention the glaring problem that has somehow still not been fixed (i.e., completely abolished as it should have been decades ago): The inherently anti-democratic mechanism called the Electoral College which makes it possible--even likely--for the loser to win. That is insane and yet we continue to pretend like it is somehow sacrosanct and cannot be changed?! If he wins (even though losing the vote as he always does lose the popular vote) I have to lay some blame at the feet of Democrats for not more aggressively pursuing abolishing the Electoral College decades ago.

But of course, Democrats are also too "nice" and worried about going "too far." Thus, Democrats do make this nightmare possible. To paraphrase a famous quote, the triumph of evil men is always thanks to the inaction of weak good men (or women).
