It was a political lynching, which is good enough for them. I can't speak to whether any of the members of that body might also be members of white supremacist terrorists organizations who are plotting and planning violence, who knows. Perhaps not, since these particular white guys strike me as Plantation owner types of old, who like to sit in the shade sipping a Mint Julep while others do the dirty work. So, no, I don't think they would do an actual literal lynching. I don't think that sort of accusation should be made, even rhetorically.

However, I will say one thing. I'm sure they are gun owners and if on the street they saw a black man approaching them at night in a hoodie ... we know what would happen, right? As I assume Tennessee must have one of those "stand your ground" laws so they would just claim they were defending themselves. Black guys are just soooo scary, right?

These GOP people are probably in the Tennessee House cuz they don't have any other job skills, other than polishing their gun collection and working on a beer belly.

Sorry I went on and on. Just had to vent some more....
