It is close because the polls have a built-in lag and have not caught up. In two weeks or so... Kamala in the lead, possibly by as much as 5 points or so. And lots of smiling and laughing and dancing.

I saw a clip of an interview with Kamala from 2019, and she said, "I'm tired of being angry, aren't you? We need to laugh and to dance sometimes." Clearly she is bringing that into her campaign as her underlying strategy... and that is a winner in this moment. Everyone is tired of being angry. I am, aren't you? We're not the only ones. Kamala wins on positivity ... mixed with laughter at Trump ;-)
