I'll be at a protest this Saturday. Of course I live in Mega MAGA Republican Trumpy Country, so I will be interested to see how many women show up. And how many people show up to harrass us, so I've been exercising my middle finger to make it nice and limber with which to greet such dickheads.

I've got a simple sign, that reads "Pro-Love, Pro-Choice, Anti-Rapist". Pretty much sums it up. The flip side of the sign, I went a bit more snarky. Since I live in big time "gun rights" country, my sign says "Your Guns Have More Rights Than My Uterus???!!"

I just wanted to note that it is very telling to me that the official Republican "talking points" right now are to emphasize decrying the leak. The fact that they are not throwing grand celebratory street parties celebrating their victory is VERY telling.

As someone else put it, when it comes to abortion, Republicans are the dog chasing the bus...who has now caught the bus. Soooo, now what? Amusing they are not showing pride in their achievment. Maybe because they can read polls just as well as you and I can. I suddenly feel more optimistic about the Midterm elections than I have in a long time.

So everybody, women and our allies, go to a protest and come November Vote for people who will Vote for YOU. Otherwise, send em packing.
