I watched a fair bit of Alito's stand-up comedy routine in Italy. It was excruciatingly painful to watch. The smugness was insufferable. He thinks it is funny? Our country spilled into the verge of a civil war by the Supreme Court unprecedented spitting in the face of precedent?. I don't find it very funny at all.

At the risk of saying something indelicate, I just have to say what I was thinking watching Mr. Smug's self-satisfied speech. I was thinking I wished the Notorious RBG could rise from the grave and give him a good kick you know where. Then reach up and take him by his ear, and drag him off to do a little "schooling" of him about what it is proper and improper for a Supreme Court Justice to say in public remarks.
