I noted one MAGA commenter to me (which I didn't mind, as he actually did make me laugh out loud--their hate/disrespect never touches me, as they are only making fools of themselves) but there have been other MAGA folk who post lengthier comments that are, I swear, word-for-word parroting of MAGA GOP "talking points." It is almost impressive-- in its own sad way-- how they manage to memorize and regurgitate them with such ease.

I wrote a comedy piece here, but of course it is a deadly serious topic. And it is not even really a politics topics, but a psychology topic, and that is beyond my expertise. *sigh* We need to hear more from psychologists on how to grapple with this phenomenon and on how to help these people get their brains back.

I do not mind disagreements on issues... and there is plenty to criticize and disagree with on some Dem policy ideas... but at least disagree with thought and analysis and not by responding to every problem by shouting "It's immigrants!" or "It's DEI!" *sigh*
