I do personally absolutely love the fact that she makes no mention of her gender or her race. She completely ignores it. Even going so far as to quite deliberately not wear suffragette white at her convention speech. I think that is absolutely brilliant of her, treating her gender and race as a non-issue... because it should be a non-issue. She models how things should be, in every way, including her refusal to stoop to negativity. And it is no act, either. Did you notice, particuarly toward the end of the debate, the expression on her face, looking at Trump as he was speaking? It was a look of pity and someone thinking "are you okay?" In a kind way. She is a better person than I, for sure.

Anyway, I brought up the race and gender issue here with some trepidation, as I did want to follow her model... but, as I said, I was so sick of the BS, I had to bring it up. And, looking at the number of comments this has racked up... wow, did I hit a nerve... which I honestly was not expecting.

Anyway, thank you for the compliment, Scott. I miss you around here. And I still miss your editor feedback. I know my writing ability has sharpened simply with practice (I have even had some fun with comic political satire pieces) but I still feel like I could use another eye, sometimes. Don't be a stranger, eh? ;-)
