I did wonder if there were Two-Spirit folk in the Security force. No real way to tell for sure. But the local Native community has been so supportive. I'll never forget last year at our Pride in the Park festivities where there was a small stage for Drag Queens and such, they took a pause to hold a special ceremony, and we all gathered solemnly but happily around to see a collection of mothers, sisters, grandmothers all in beautiful traditional Native garb standing with their Two-Spirit relative and did a ceremony honoring that person who had tears in their eyes. Just beautiful.
