I did cancel my NYT subscription a couple months ago. I went back and forth with myself on whether I should. Glad I did, at this point.

Worse, though, is that even MSNBC is falling into the same trap you are describing, leading with the Trump narrative version of events, even as they do proceed to criticize it. But they still let MAGA set the narrative. MSNBC just noted that Columbia changed its mind and backed off on their tariff threat. Making it sound like a Trump win. And this is MSNBC!

It does no one any good to hear even that network carry the Trump narrative. Another example, even MSNBC began their coverage of the day's news with the Trump propaganda lie "Trump begins his mass deportation with huge show of force all across America." Bullsh*t. There are no more deportation flights now than there have been under Democratic administrations. But MSNBC too just repeats the Trump talking point.

It is maddening.

Where do we turn for actual reporting of actual news minus the Trump propaganda lead-in?
