I appreciate your analysis and opinions. And of course, I am always up for a little Patriarchy bashing. ;-) Do it myself quite a lot.

However, asked the question who crushed feminism ... my answer would be women crushed feminism. One woman in particular was the spearhead, though she was spokeswoman for a lot of supporters who thought the same way she did: Phyllis Schlafly. She killed feminism. We would have had the Equal Rights Amendment were it not for her orchestrating a clever and demented disinformation campaign to kill it. In fact, I would even go so far as to perhaps call her the grandmother of the modern MAGA Republican party. Phyllis used misinformation, distortion, and fear-mongering to brainwash other women to believe up was down and down was up and women's rights and feminism were an "evil" that should be feared and stopped. MAGA took her playbook and just expanded it to other topics.

I appreciate all the praise you lavish on the feminine nature... but, since we are equal to men ... that means we are quite capable of doing just as much harm as men. Alas.
