Good article. I still continue to feel that gender was -- and is-- a big part of this story, which aspect is not getting the full attention in mainstream media that I think it really deserves. Though some in the media are at least noting that Cheney's replacement is a "token" woman, and that coming from a Party who gripes endlessly about Democrat's engaging in identity politics??? The GOP's hypocrisy knows no bounds. It would all be laughable if it weren't so dangerous to our democracy.
