Everything you had to say was absolutely sensible.

And just as a side note, I don't think I said (or really did not want to imply) that all white people are privileged economically. I'm living on an economic knife's edge myself. Of course, when pulled over by police for a traffic infraction, I don't have to fear for my life, so there is that bit of privilege, but of course a different topic.

In any case, I basically am in agreement with much of what you say (might quibble with some details, but basic agreement).

Here is the problem though that supercedes all other problems.

I'm currently going through Chris Hayes' book "Sirens' Call."

The crux of the problem is not in anything you had to say--since, as I said, it was all 100% sensible--but rather how to get attention to it.

Everything does boil down to wealth inequality. And when I wrote about that topic ... tumbleweeds blowing by... crickets.

So, someone needs to figure out how to say the things you said in an attention getting way.

I'm struggling to figure that one out. Also, Democrats in general appear to be too. As I have commented elsewhere, we need pictures of Democrats on milk cartons with the caption "Missing. Have You Seen Me?" *sigh*
