But really, the most fascinating thing to me, is just how slick Catholic apologists are. I mean SLICK... the rhetorical gymnastics combined with making sure you know they are just so gosh darn sweet and nice and want the best for ya and then sweetly point out the Devil is using you...

Honestly did occur to me that she was also giving the same line as Mrs. White in the movie Carrie when she told her daughter--as she was physically and psychologically abusing her daugher-- that the devil doesn't let you know he is working through you.

Hmmm, I still insist I don't believe in the devil... but Catholics keep making me wonder if I'm wrong... and that the Devil is using them... while they of course don't seem to realize it?

Their good intentions certainly do seem to be paving a road to... where we do not want to go!
